Section 1: League Fees + Balances.
Match Fees: Every player must pay a £4.00 match fee for every league fixture. In addition to this fee, players must split the table hire cost evenly with their opponent.
Balance Tracking: Your match fees are tracked on your Personal Fixtures Page (accessible by clicking
your name on the League Table). A £4.00 fee is automatically deducted for every match played, including VOID fixtures.
Payment Deadline: Match fees must be paid before playing. If a player has a negative balance, they
have until Midnight on Monday to clear it.
Late Payment Penalty: If a balance remains unpaid after 7 days, a 1-point deduction will be applied
to the player's league total points. It is the player's sole responsibility to monitor their balance.
Section 2: Match Formats + Gameplay.
Match Structure: All league matches consist of exactly 4 frames.
Scoring: 1 point is awarded per frame won.
Refereeing Duties: Players act as the referee during their own matches. You must call out the break as it happens, replace colours on their spots
immediately, and update the scoreboard once the break is finished. Both players must agree on the scoreboard after updates. The acting
referee's decision is final.
The Miss Rule: There is no "Miss Rule" in this league.
Equipment: You may not use a private set of snooker balls unless you have explicit approval from your opponent before the match begins.
Score Disputes: Any unresolved dispute regarding frame scores or points added to the wrong score will result in a void frame,
unless an agreement is reached, the frame must be re-racked. Completed Matches: Once a match finishes and the result is submitted, it is final and cannot be replayed for any reason. Section 3: Fixtures + Postponements. Scheduling: This is a Monday league. All fixtures are officially scheduled for Mondays. The player named first on the
fixtures list has Home Advantage and table choice. Postponement Deadline: If you plan to play your match on a different day, the match must be formally postponed.
The deadline to postpone a fixture is 4.00pm on Match Days (Mondays).
Unexcused Absence: If a match is not officially postponed before the 4.00pm deadline and a player fails to show
up, their opponent can rightly claim a 4-0 walkover win. Joint Responsibility: Both players are equally responsible for ensuring their weekly fixture is arranged. If your
opponent has not contacted you, you must reach out to them. The League Organizer will not send reminders for expiring play-by dates. The 28-Day "Play-By " Rule: Once a match is postponed, players have 28 days to play the rescheduled game. Players must play their current scheduled weekly fixture before playing any back-games. If the 28-day window expires, the match becomes Void (0 points for both players), though match fees still apply. If the expiration was genuinely not your fault, you must submit proof of your attempts to arrange the match (e.g., screenshots from
the WhatsApp Forum) to the League Organizer for a formal judgement. Holidays: If you have a holiday planned, you must arrange to play your affected fixtures before you leave. Postponement Limit: A player can only be responsible for a maximum of 3 postponed matches at any one time.
Going over this limit results in an automatic 4-0 forfeit loss given to your opponent from your first postponed match (match fee still applies). Points Forfeiture + Extensions: Players cannot simply choose to hand their opponent the points rather than playing. This fixture would be void.
0 points for both players. A 1-week extension on a play-by date will
only be granted by the Organizer under exceptional circumstances; "not having enough time" is not a valid reason. Section 4: Handicaps. Allocation: Handicaps are assigned by the League Organizer based on playing ability. They are given in good faith to encourage fair
competition and player improvement, not to be exploited for an unfair advantage. Tracking: Players are strictly responsible for knowing and playing off their correct handicap.
Playing off an incorrect handicap invalidates the match and it must be replayed. Automatic Adjustment: Handicaps auto-adjust after every 4-frames based on your wins and losses. Rate: Adjustments are calculated at 0.5 points per frame. Handicap Cap: The current maximum start any player can give or receive in a
match is capped at 40 points. Section 5: League Standings + Break Prize. Tie Breakers: If players finish tied on league points, their final position will be determined using the following hierarchy: 1. Total Matches Won Highest Break Prize: Capped at a maximum of £100.00. The prize pays out £1.00 per break point scored up to the £100.00 cap.
If multiple players share the highest break, the prize money will be split equally. Player Withdrawals: If a player leaves the league early, all of their previous played matches are marked Void.
Points won against them are removed from opponents, and the corresponding match fees are refunded. Future fixtures against them will become a "Free Week" with no points available.
Any high breaks made by the departing player will also be voided. Section 6: Club Decorum + Etiquette. Snooker Room Access: If you are not actively playing a match, you should not be in the snooker room. Do not disturb
matches in progress. Spectators: If you have permission to watch a live match, you must remain completely quiet. If asked to leave the room by an active player,
you must do so immediately and quietly. Noise Levels: Please keep noise to an absolute minimum out of respect for players on adjacent tables. While snooker
can be frustrating, shouting aloud is strictly unacceptable, please leave the snooker room quietly.
2. Frames Difference
3. Head-to-Head Record
4. If still tied, a best-of-3 frames playoff match will be scheduled.
