Once again, the Scottish Counties Singles
Championship Will take place during 2024.
The main event will take place the same weekend as the Scottish Counties Championship, with regional qualifiers to be run in the lead up to the Counties date. All of the leagues that take part in the County Championships are able to run a qualifying event. The minimum number of entries required to run a qualifying event is 5, for one qualifier spot.
Events that run with more than 5 entries will be awarded qualifying spots on a pro rata basis. This is a scratch tournament, with the last 32 playing on the Friday of the Scottish County Championships. The 16 losers in the round of 32 will be entered into a plate competition. Matches will be best of three up to the final which will be played on the Sunday after the teams competition.
